1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Paws handles personal information when you use the service. Happy Paws is operated by the Happy Paws project team. For privacy questions or requests, contact lvdat.dev@gmail.com.
2. Information we use
We may use your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture; information you add about your business, clients, pets, sitters, services and visits; plan and payment status; and technical information needed to keep the service running and secure.
3. Google Sign-In data
When you choose Google Sign-In, Google shares your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile picture with Happy Paws. We use this information only to create and maintain your Happy Paws account, authenticate you, display your profile and protect the service. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
4. Why we use information
We use information to sign you in, provide and protect your workspace, apply plan limits, keep your plan status in sync, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. Depending on where you live, the applicable legal basis may include providing the service, our legitimate interests, your consent or compliance with the law.
5. Partners that help us operate
Google provides identity authentication. Paddle handles paid plans, payments, taxes, invoices and related buyer support. Hosting, database and security providers may process information only as needed to run Happy Paws. We do not sell personal information.
6. International processing
Some of our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account and workspace information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or meet legal requirements. If you close your account or ask us to delete information, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time unless we are required to keep it.
8. How we protect it
We use access controls, secure HttpOnly cookies, HTTPS in deployed environments, encrypted service communication and encryption at rest where applicable. No online service can be completely risk-free. If you suspect a security issue, please report it through Help.
9. Cookies
Happy Paws uses essential cookies for sign-in, sessions and security. Google and Paddle may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you use their services, subject to their respective policies.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your personal information, or object to how it is used. We may verify your identity before completing a request. Email lvdat.dev@gmail.com from the email associated with your account. Please do not include passwords or other secrets.
11. Children and updates
Happy Paws is not intended for children. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
